Design for Interactive Information Spaces
The volume Design for Interactive Information Spaces, published in open access by FrancoAngeli and authored by Giorgio Dall’Osso, Michele Zannoni, Fernando Salvetti, and Barbara Bertagni, is coming soon.
The book explores the strategic role of interactive information spaces in contemporary cultural, educational, and professional design, examining how physical and digital environments can evolve into experiential ecosystems integrating communication, immersive technologies, and artificial intelligence.
Through an interdisciplinary approach combining interaction design, museography, cognitive sciences, and experiential design, the volume presents conceptual models and practical case studies for designing environments in which people can actively interact, learn, and construct meaning.
The publication also stems from a long-standing scientific collaboration between Logosnet and the University of Bologna, developed through the Centro Studi Logos and the e-REAL Innovation Labs, within joint research and experimentation activities carried out with the Department of Architecture under the guidance of Prof. Marco Gaiani.
Over time, this collaboration has supported joint projects focused on interaction design, interactive information environments, immersive technologies, and new models of cultural and educational experience, integrating academic research with applied innovation.
The book represents the outcome of a shared research pathway aimed at exploring how to design the information spaces of the future through interdisciplinary approaches and emerging technologies.
The volume will be available soon.
